My husband Andy and I usually do bear making workshops or bear design workshops (non-smoking) on a one to one basis, or you can bring a friend, although I can cater for larger groups if requested. If you own a shop or are a member of a Teddy Bear Club we will be happy to come to you, to do a group workshop, as long as you help with the organising.

I do the one to one workshops in Hythe, Kent and the cost is £100 per day plus materials. I try to cover any aspect of bear making from beginner's to advanced level, plus help with design, marketing and setting up in business if that's what you would like. I tailor the day to suit your needs and the aim is to produce your own beautiful bear by the end of the day.

I can help with; design, hand sewing, machining, needle sculpture, nose sewing, eyes, ears, dyeing mohair, sourcing materials, promotion, trade organisations, website design, insurance awareness etc.

I usually ask people to bring some of their own bears and then go on from there, the object is generally to have a bear finished by the time you leave (even if we end up in pyjamas).
