These are our old time teds, proper old fashioned teddy bears like the ones we made back in the early 1990's when we started making bears, we hope you like them. Some of the bears are made from genuine vintage mohair that will be between 70 and 150 years old and others are made from old style German and British mohair. Please note that our bears are unsuitable for children under 14. We hope you like them and if you'd like to have one of them in your own home please call or email us, we can accept payment by major debit and credit cards over the phone as well as by PayPal for overseas customers, all prices are displayed in British Pounds if you would like to find out the approximate equivalent price in your own currency please use the link on the left.

DJ, traditional mohair artist bear

DJ's a cheerful little chap, he's made from sparse, tousled, damp straw coloured, German mohair that has a slight greenish hue in certain lights. He has dull brown, suedette pads, boot button eyes and a brown nose and cheeky little grin.
Fosdyke, traditional mohair artist bear

Fosdyke's a rather old fashioned sort of bear, he's made from plae gold, tousled German mohair with a slightly warmer backing, he has dull brown, suedette pads and a sparsley threaded, dark charcoal nose.

Bertie's a rather distinguished little bear, ready for the winter with his warm scarf. He's made from a warm, gold piece of vintage German mohair, with wool felt pads and boot button eyes. He looks like a bear all ready for his first day at school, a little apprehensive and in need of a big hug to set him on his way.

Mostyn is made from a piece of short, stubbly and worn,gingery gold coloured vintage german mohair, he has boot button eyes, german wool felt pads and an incompletely threaded charcoal nose and mouth, that adds to his world worn charm, he has a very small embroidered area on his right shoulder. Mostyn's a small cuddly, scruffy, teddy bear, he looks like a bear who has loved and lost, maybe you could love him again.

Lester's quite a distinguished bear, he's made from a very old piece of dark gold German mohair with an olive sheen, he has boot button eyes, german wool felt pads and a black nose. He's a centre seam bear reminiscent of the earliest Edwardian teddy bears

Chaplin one of a kind mohair artist teddy bear

Chaplin's a really sweet bear with a slightly sad expression that just invites you to pick him up and give him a big hug. He's made from fairly short, straight pile, german mohair, that is silvery beige with a warm brown backing, he has boot button eyes, velvet pads and a black nose and mouth. Chaplin is a centre seam bear like some of the early Steiffs.

Elias, one of a kind mohair artist bear

Elias is made from short distressed german mohair, in some lights it looks like a digestive biscuit and in other it looks like a ginger nut, as you can see in the photos. He has boot button eyes, wool felt pads and a slightly worn looking black nose.

Tiffin, one of a kind, mohair, artist bear

Tiffin's made from distressed, caramel coloured mohair from South Africa, which makes a pleasant change, his pads are made from German wool felt, he has boot button eyes and a dark brown nose and mouth. He's a nice bear to hold and it's fun to scrunch up his mohair.

Lovejoy is a one of a kind, centre seamed bear.

Lovejoy could have been a sober traditional bear, but instead we used some very decorative, vintage, german mohair to make him, so he's a somewhat flamboyant. He has black suedette pads, black boot button eyes and a black nose.
