The Tarantella kit costs £60 plus postage, packing and insurance*, it makes a really wild typical Barbara-Ann bear, with a sculpted face, eyelids, separate hair and a bent over neck. This kit makes a bear about 11”/ 28cm tall, it includes 1/4 metre of hand dyed mohair for the main colour, plus smaller pieces for the tummy, snout top, ear and tail backs and a fluffier bit for the top of the head. You'll have some mohair left over in case you make any mistakes.
Each kit is made from unique pieces of hand dyed mohair, together with matching paw pad material, beautiful hand painted eyes, eyelid material and nose threads. They come complete with patterns and full instructions, with diagrams for the trickier bits. You need to buy joints, sewing thread and strong button thread, bear making tools and stuffing material. As all the mohair is unique to each kit you will definitely be making your own one of a kind artist bear.
